Breakfast Tray Bake
Have you ever wanted a proper breakfast but the thought of washing out pans makes you want to crawl back into bed and cry? I feel that way quite frequently, and the other day I devised a solution- I put everything I wanted to eat on an aluminum foil pan and baked it. Surprisingly, it worked really well, so well, that I might never use a pan to make breakfast ever again. I can’t tell you what a revelation it was to simply line a pan with foil, make some little foil cups to hold the eggs, slap and crack everything on the pan, and let it bake. Game changer!
Ingredients:
2 eggs
4 pieces of turkey bacon
3 cherry tomatoes halved
Optional:
Toast
Tools:
Baking tray
Non-stick aluminum foil
Performance:
I began by lining the pan with 2 sheets of tin foil. I then tore off two smaller pieces of foil and molded them into little cups to hold the eggs. I assembled the tin cups on the baking tray, cracked one egg into each cup, and placed the turkey bacon and tomatoes wherever there was space on the tray. I baked at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until the bacon was cooked to my liking and the egg whites were firm. I served everything on a piece of toast, and devoured smugly, because I knew cleanup was a matter of tossing out the tin foil.
